When will my order ship? | Back to Top

Most orders received by 12:00 Noon EST will be shipped the same day, orders received after 12:00 Noon EST will be shipped the following day. Orders received on Friday after 12:00 Noon EST will be shipped the following Monday.

No orders will be shipped on holidays.

There are some exceptions to orders shipping same or next business day:

Any customization of a product may delay the shipping time. Some lift chairs, wheelchairs, scooters, lifts, and some other products are built specifically for you! These products can take a few weeks to ship and you will be notified by e-mail after your order is placed.

Standard wheelchairs that have no customization or options chosen should ship same or next business day. If you purchase a power, ultralightweight, or any other customized wheelchair where you chose specific options, this chair may take 1-3 weeks to be built. We will get the chair out to you as soon as it is ready! You will be notified by e-mail with the build time after your order is placed. Please contact us before placing the order if you have questions about this.
Scooters may ship right away or may need to be built for you. This depends upon the scooter you choose. Basic scooters (no options are chosen) should ship same or next business day. If you purchase a scooter that needs to be built it can take 1-4 weeks to ship. You will be notified by e-mail the build time after the order is placed. Please contact us before placing the order if you have questions about this.
Lift chairs usually ship within 1-3 business days if they are in stock. Many factors determine if a chair is in stock such as the model, color, size, and/or options that you put into this chair. If you do choose a chair that needs to be built, it takes approximately 2-4 weeks to build this chair. You will be notified by e-mail the build time after the order is placed. Please contact us before placing the order if you have questions about this.

When you purchase from ImproveLife.com, we give you free shipping for all orders over $100.00!! Our free shipping takes approximately 3-5 business days. Free shipping is shipped by UPS or FEDEX for most items.

When purchasing a larger item such as a scooter, power wheelchair, lift chair, etc. your order will most likely be delivered by common carrier. In addition to our free standard delivery we also offer white glove delivery or inside delivery for some of our products. These delivery methods can be chosen for an additional fee. The freight company will contact you to set up a delivery date when shipping either inside delivery or white glove. White glove delivery adds an addional 5-7 days on top of standard delivery time. We do not ship to PO boxes. Please provide us with a street address if your billing address is a PO Box.

For any order that is shipping outside of the continental United States, please choose check or money order as your payment method and we will e-mail you with the shipping costs. You will be charged separately for the shipping after we quote you a price and you agree to this price. You may also call our toll-free number at (888) 570-8836 and we will quote your shipping over the phone or feel free to e-mail us customercare@improvelife.com and we will respond with the shipping price.

We are proud of our Improvelife.com collection and want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return the merchandise within 30 days of receipt. We will honor all damaged and incorrect orders at Improvelife.com expense. To qualify for a return please see the following:

1.    Items should be unused and in original packaging.

2.    A refund of the price of the item and any applicable taxes will be issued in the original form of payment used to purchase the item. Please note that this also applies to items received as gifts. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive a refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase.

3.    All credits will be given after receipt of merchandise with warehouse inspection approval.

4.    Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the item is being returned because it is damaged or defective.

5.    Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

6. You may use the shipping carrier most convenient for you.

7.  Use a secure shipping method to send the item so that it can be tracked. For example, if you are sending it through the United States Postal Service, please send it via certified mail. We are not responsible for items lost during shipping, and cannot process your return until the item is received.

 

Restocking Fees:  A 10% restocking fees applies to the following group of products: Electric Scooters, Power Wheelchairs, and Wheelchair Cushions. Please see the specific product page for exact policy.

 

No Returns: We will not accept returns on the following group of products: Bath Safety, Incontinence items, Hospital Beds, Lift chairs Nutritional Products, Ultra Lightweight Wheelchairs, and Wound Care products. Please see the specific product page for exact policy.

 

To return a product, the above conditions must be met. In addition, we require that all returns follow these instructions for proper processing:

Instructions:

1.    Contact customer care by calling 888-570-8836 or e-mail customercare@improvelife.com to request a Return Authorization Number (RA).  Items received without an RA will not be credited.

2.    Warehouse must receive items within 15 days of an RA# being issued.

3.    Contact customer care with tracking number.

Cancellation: If you decide to cancel your order after it has shipped the above return policy applies.
